I am interrupting my evening meal with a live update from Miss Mo. She read my Gimli Gazette, Issue Seventy and was moved to tears by it (a common reaction by many, second only to awe and wonder). She rushed out to my paddock to give me even more good information to share with you about the Horse Handler Trainings (to be held on January 20th, February 10, and February 24 — all Saturdays from 10am to 1pm).
Miss Mo says that you can now register by simply sending a message to the ranch on Facebook. All volunteers who will be working directly with the horses must be at least 18 years old. For teenagers 13 to 17, they may audit the training if they are accompanied by a parent/guardian. Auditors will not work hands-on with the horses, but they will learn important skills that will help them when they get older.
It would be great to have a few more trained horse handlers available to serve on the ranch. If you wake up each day and say to yourself, “How can I spend more time with Gimli?”, this could be your ticket to paradise!
Happy Trails,
Gimli
